“Social Makerspace – a place for inventors of all ages” is a project of the Social Teahouse Foundation, which will support the newest part of the organization, namely the space for young inventors. The project aims to give both youngsters and adults the opportunity to create their own inventions using the modern technologies of 3D printing and laser engraving. The activities will involve kids and their parents as well as young people to try practically modeling and making their creations. The project has been developed based on the identified problem that children and young people do not have the opportunity to engage in hands-on activities on selected topics. 3D printing and laser engraving require expensive equipment and supplies as well as an experienced trainer to avoid accidents and to empower everyone to unleash their engineering potential.
“ Social Makerspace – a place for inventors of all ages ” project is funded by PEPCO Bulgaria, within the PEPCOlandia programme, implemented in partnership with the Workshop for Civic Initiatives Foundation.
